ZENTANGLE SERIES
Come and deepen your Zentangle practice with CZT Sarah Del Mastro on Wednesday mornings.
Sarah is well known for her gentle way of teaching, she is very connected to the zen of the putting your pen to paper and creating beautiful works.
Continuing
the jouney with our second of our Wednesday morning Zentangle classes
at Kamala's new studio. This series of classes is great for beginners,
but is also for experienced tanglers who wish to reconnect with the
foundations of the method. In this second class we will delve into
strings in more depth, considering the characteristics of a string,
different types of string and different ways to use them, not just to
contain tangles but to support and guide and grow tangles. Get
comfortable creating your own creative strings and of course we will get
to know some more tangles and start looking at how to blend and mix
them together effortlessly! Later classes in this series will take time
to go into more depth to develop students confidence on themes such as
shading, creating tangleations and new tangles, and how to work
elegantly with 'unplanned' lines! We will also explore 'Fragments and
Reticula' in Zentangle, a new concept introduced earlier this year by
Rick and Maria, the founders of Zentangle Method. $30 per class or $100
for a four class pass (Series dates: Sept 14, 28, Oct 12, 26), 9-11am.
(Note: If you dont attend all four classes you can use your class pass
towards another class with me at Kamala)

I am offering my Prismacolor Pencil Compass Rose Mandala class on
At Kamala Soul Circles 747 Washington st, Holliston
Across from TD Bank and the Public Library
Parking in back, classroom is the first floor rear of the building.
This is the class I taught at a continuing ed seminar for certified
Zentangle teachers and the outcome was absolutely gorgeous!
So, if you would like to learn how to draw a beautiful compass rose mandala and then learn blending techniques and color theory with Prismacolor Pencils, you would love this class! We will explore using a colored micron to draw the mandala and then the myriad of gelly pens to embellish when finished.
It's an all afternoon event. This is not a hurry and get it done project. I have tried to squeeze this into 3 hours, and that was not long enough. So the extra hour or two is available to enjoy and use at an easy pace so that you can focus on the incredible detail finish work.
I have all supplies to use and share and will provide beautiful paper.
